The façade renovation project aims to enhance the building’s appearance using simple and understated materials. Most of the external insulation will be made from straw or bio-sourced materials, and a small portion uses thin insulation.
The thickness of the ETI makes it possible to integrate planter strips under the windows, allowing for green bands to be installed. The upper part of each window will be bevelled to maximise natural light entry into the rooms despite the added insulation thickness, and to improve sky visibility from inside.
